Roffey Homes win coveted South East Award

We are proud to announce that we have won the coveted ‘Best
Partnership with a Local Authority’ award at the LABC South East Awards. The
prestigious regional event celebrates success, innovation and creative
solutions and showcases buildings and design teams that have been faced with
complex technical or construction issues and building site constraints.

The annual ceremony which took place at The Grand in
Brighton on Friday 21st June was attended by more than 300 representatives from
across the construction industry. The award was won for our partnership with
Adur & Worthing Building Control with whom we have worked for over 35
years. Roffey’s aim is to provide homes that people can be proud of which
enhance the surrounding environment, and this achievement reflects our approach
and reputation of providing the highest quality building standards using safe
and well-established building methods.

Organised by the Local Authority Building Control (LABC),
the event is the largest business to business awards in the building control
sector. LABC represent all local authority building control teams in England
and Wales and support the industry by providing advice and resources to help
ensure buildings are safe, healthy, inclusive and efficient, and meet the
standards set by the building regulations.

On the night, Managing Director Ben Cheal hosted a table
with members of the team as well as ECE Architecture, who have worked with us
for a long time to deliver projects. Throughout the evening we enjoyed a drinks
reception, three course meal and excellent entertainment!

Ben Cheal said: “We are thrilled to have won this award and
it really reflects our absolute commitment to quality and safe working practices.
It is essential that we work in close partnership with the local Adur and
Worthing authority and it’s a relationship we are extremely proud of. It has
been an incredibly busy 12 months for Roffey Homes and the award is testament
to the hard work and dedication of our outstanding team of highly experienced
experts.”
